TV manufacturers should all add a "retro" setting as a menu option for shutting off all digital signal processing & streaming software apps, & making the monitors function like sets did in the mid/late '00s when we were still transitioning away from CRT TVs.

Not a big difference. PS2 had Gran Turismo 2, MGS2, Final Fantasy 10, Silent Hill 2, NBA Street, Tony Hawk 3, Onimusha, Devil May Cry, Armored Core 2, Max Payne, Virtua Fighter 4, Ace Combat 4 , Ico, and Jak and Daxter and a DVD player.
