👥 Constructive public participation makes the energy transition faster, fairer & more trusted.

Yesterday, EREF joined @eeb.org exchange in the EP on Public Participation in RE Projects, hosted by MEP Paulo do Nascimento Cabral & moderated by Luke Haywood (EEB).

Yesterday, the recent “Feasibility study of an EU Legislative Act banning new fossil fuel projects,” was presented in the European Parliament. EREF believes that studies like this will be crucial in enabling the green energy transition.

On January 28-29, EREF was pleased to host it's Board & Policy Meeting in Brussels. In the evening, EREF held its Policy Dinner, which serves as a platform for open and insightful exchanges.

Fossil fuels caused around half of Eurozone inflation in 2022, directly & due to effect gas ➡️ power prices. High fossil prices also increased other prices, esp. food.

The good news: Renewables already lowered inflation & promise more price stability.🔌💡
