Old : Bee Gees & various : Saturday Night Fever

In 1977 I paid no attention to this in junior high. But by the time i got to college Lisa broadened my eyes to a greater variety of pop music and I enjoyed many songs from here.

New: Soundtrack from Hairspray.

Happy cover to go with hopeful songs.

Both Lisa and I feel this is too severe a look for red carpet. For me it looks business oriented not celebratory as a red carpet should be. Lisa said it could work with a less severe hair style and better makeup.

That stuff is dry AF and should not even be edible. Bit wherever my Grandma got it from when I was a kid, I loved it.

This is one of the most powerful intentions IMO.

We aren’t going to roll over. This will be an ongoing struggle until we get our coast guard helicopter back. Until then the feds have the capability to try to build the detention center so we will remain on guard.

I don’t have any idea of what they could’ve been thinking.

That’s so awesome.

I love the focus and framing of this picture.

I said “hmmm” and Lisa asked to look. Her reply was, “the boob hammock doesn’t work with the cut out on the sleeves”. I agree and we both also both think the fit is off and the feathers are placed in an unflattering manner.

It can’t be that old. It was probably broken this summer. After this winter it’ll be gone.

I find it hard to judge my own photos so I feel you. FWIW I see this picture as just beyond Impressionism into abstract and it’s quite nice.

I’m loving being here on BlueSky all the art challenges have really forced me to expand and stretch my art, especially my photography. Like today on our walk I was keeping an eye out for “unloved” themes. Like this broken compass. But I don’t like the shadow so I probably won’t use it 🤷‍♂️
