It is also interesting to see how much the small Danish soft drinks have benefited over the last year. The proportion of shelf space they use now is noticeably more than this time last year… 😊

I hear/feel you! Walking out on the one in France required my stomach doing some rather interesting and unusual gymnastic tricks. Whilst I was trying to enjoy all the scenery around me without quite studying the landscape underneath me too much… 😊🫨🙄😊

Incidentally, I like a nice drop of wine every now and again. The two main wine pushers I used stopped buying US wine early last year.

They are now buying big from the South American producers who lost a fair bit of their market (good wines too!!!).

Bit of a win-win, in my opinion…!
😊

Really good. Particularly the last two sentences.

And just for the record: I acknowledge all the hurt that was done (and still is being done) to the Aboriginal people, the original owners of my homeland.

I will do the little I can to spread hope and acceptance. And be a good ancestor.

At some stage have a look at the glass floor they have in a building on Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix, France…

Stunning…

😊

Thanks… it is appreciated…!

(Feels odd to say that, as someone who is Australian born and bred! But I am now getting extremely close to have lived over half my life in Europe, with all bar three of the years in Denmark… you know what I mean! 😊)

You are welcome! I just remembered the discussions before it started, then just before it started, so I am happy to hear it went well! 😊

You are not alone… my colleagues have heard me say this enough times, but…

I get up at 6 am and wake up a bit after 10 (am, hopefully) 😊

(And no, with two exceptions, they aren’t morning people either).

(Especially middle of winter totally overcast days at a time…!)

How did the plumbing go? I was just thinking about you guys this afternoon…?

It was a special one, that one… while I was taking photos, another cyclist came (from the other direction) stopped and started taking photos too. No one said anything. And then when I had gotten ready to cycle again, I just said “a great way to start the day!” She smiled and said “oh yes…!”

Wonderful shot…! And the choice of shutter speed is spot on… enough form in the water, but enough movement as well!

On my cycle to work last Monday I was treated to a lovely sunrise. I could sort of feel it behind me, so when I got to an open area I took a couple of iPhone shots.

I agree 100%… The life and vitality in her work is what first hit me when I saw… Really something special!!!

🤦‍♂️

When I first read that as mening the Jon and Vangelis song of that name.

(Which, for some weird reason has been rotating through my brain today…)

I have seen it put more eloquently, but I don’t remember the precise phrasing…
