You get relief from having your prostate massaged. From what I understand this is an accepted practice among urologists for treating prostatitis. I doubt he'll be too fazed by your issue. It can a bit daunting to approach a doctor with such a personal complaint, but they should be understanding.

Roughly half the population has one and eventually most that do will have some issue with it regardless of orientation. If your urologist is a caring professional I think you will find him helpful with your issue.

Well it's -11C (12 F) here this morning, with 15 cm (5.9 in) of snow in the forecast, so I am content to cower indoors for now. 😆

I'll take the wear and tear of a long life over the alternative! I've had near daily pain in my left ankle since I broke my leg about 30 years ago. The little morning aches and stiffnes now piling up from arthritis are just a reminder I woke up for another day here.
