Those relegation conversations just became a little more real with the news of Tudor coming in

The spurs board make a lot of decisions I really hate, but I don’t hate the idea of Marco Rose coming in as interim boss.

Obviously they’ll now appoint De Zerbi and I can go back to hating their decisions.

Thought Ange Postecoglu was actually pretty insightful on the Overlap, without revealing too much.

There’s a consistent theme of managers at spurs just left steering the ship without any leadership or direction from above.

Which does beg the question of what the board are doing day to day?

I don’t want to further alarm spurs fans, but this is the current injury list and estimated return dates. It doesn’t remotely get better for another month and that’s relying on their being no further injuries.

The attack is light for the rest of the season, but luckily we’re reinforcing in Jan…oh.

This is brutal, but correct from start to finish.

The thing that always gets me is how often spurs make a signing and I watch them live for like 1 game and I’m like “oh, there’s a massive problem here”. Kim rightly flags Kudus as a terrible signing, but could have selected anyone of about 10 others

Obviously not a day for celebration today. Club is rotten from top to bottom. Everyone is to blame.

Leadership unaccountable. No obvious manager to come in and save us. Players as unmotivated and undisciplined as I’ve ever seen.

I have no idea how we get out this mess short or long term.

It says a lot about the leadership at spurs that someone has leaked Frank’s sacking and 30 minutes later the club still hasn’t made an official announcement.

Almost exactly on the money to the minute!
Obvious to everyone we’re in deep trouble. I’m imagining Vinnai having to explain the concept of relegation to the Lewis kids tonight to get them to sack Frank.

I suspect he’s gone by 10am tomorrow once they do the maths on how much it’ll cost them.

Spare a thought for the executives at Tottenham Hotspur this morning who are currently running around with their pants on their head, scrambling through petty cash to pay out the manager, and going through the Filofax alphabetically for a replacement. First one who picks up gets the job.

I know all the attention is on Frank tonight, but a word about Bissouma… he played like he was stoned. Genuinely lucky he wasn’t hooked before half time.

I hope he’s alright mentally cos something isn’t right with him. In normal circumstances it’d be difficult to see how he plays for the club again

Tbh, this is more about Frank knowing he has to show on record he’s not planning on going anywhere off his on accord so he can get the best possible pay out tomorrow.

Just makes the payout process a bit more drawn out tomorrow, but fair play to him.

I’m going back in my 30 years of experience as a season ticket holder to remember a team as bad as the one we had out tonight though.

The Pleat 2004 team was a real patch up of King, Keane, Defoe and then players like Konchesky and Doherty, who were so out of their depth it was painful.

Only people who don’t think spurs are getting relegated are the spurs players and Bluesky coys.

Everyone one of the 50k here tonight can see it and smell it. I’m not even sure a change of manager saves us now.

Niche interest post - but the midfield battle tonight is gonna be interesting. Both team setup for 2nd and 3rd balls. Forward players positioned to drop in as well.

Going to be an arm wrestle and we need to win it.

On train to Spurs. There’s serious relegation chat going on. Someone’s got a fixture predictor out! The fans are taking it seriously so let’s hope the players are focused on getting out of this mess tonight.

If we come out in a passive mid block again it’ll get ugly and the crowd will turn quickly.

I’ve just seen a bunch of people on here defending Romero and blaming the manager for his continual ill discipline, in the context that Romero only got sent off once under Ange.

Gotta say at least if we get relegated we might lose some of the numpties who claim to be fans on this place.

I work with a Hearts fan perplexed that spurs have just signed James Wilson. “No where near PL level” was his assessment.

Sounds like a puzzling move but then you see he shares an agency with Andy Robertson and it starts to make sense.

Gotta grease those agency wheels for the summer window, baby!

I’ve just got home and seen the Villa goal that VAR chalked off earlier today 🤯

Made me angry watching it, so god knows how the Villa fans felt in the ground.

It’s easy to over analyse everything a football team does tactically (those sweet clicks)… but sometimes a team just needs to be brave and go man-2-man all over the pitch and having runners who can cover ground.

Weve done it for 90 mins and 30 mins against city this season and got 4 points. Simple.
February 1, 2026 at 7:10 PM
City treating this like a training game. Be thankful for small mercies.

That spurs line up is hilarious in all fairness. Presumably Dragusin is playing LCB which can really only mean a field day for cherki in that half space.
February 1, 2026 at 3:33 PM
I hope they can prove me wrong tomorrow, but spurs are absolutely sleepwalking in to relegation this season.

If I was a betting man I’d be taking advantage of some very generous odds being offered currently.
