First post! Started a Food Pantry at the local high school in 2017. The first day 1 student shopped. Now 325+ students shoppers come by weekly for kitchen staples, toiletries, meat and produce - followed by 175+ families who come curbside for a similar bounty. Stay tuned for some of our stories.

As we all brace for the 20th - a little food for the heart. Did you know Wegmans donates thousands of pounds of food to our pantry? Every week - produce, protein, beautiful cakes, tortes, and tarts. Last week 3 people’s eyes lit up when they got celebrate their special bdays with a gorgeous cake!

Food for the Heart: Happy Thanksgiving Eve. Recently, our food pantry's special distribution was Masa - a hot commodity that's loved by our Pantry Families! Well, the week after, one of our families made sure we were taken care of by baking us fresh tortillas! What a gift.

Growing up, Sam Coffey got an inside look into the sports world through her father, a longtime sportswriter at the NY Daily News, and into journalism through her mother, a writer/editor.

Her siblings went into journalism. She went into sports.
