I've made a comment about an ongoing general reaction to Barry's pre-season prediction. I've not followed his every comment and response because I don't care what others think about where we'll finish. Just think it's mad that after a win people thoughts are with a journalist.

What can I say to this? You've stated my intent despite the thread showing (I hope) the fact that this wasn't my intention. If I've upset anyone (about anything other than footy) I apologise. 2025 I suppose. I also think Barry can say where he thinks Everton can finish.

I've said that's not my intention. I'm sorry if I've upset anyone and I hope that's clear. My comment was about where a person thought we'd finish in the league.

I don't know your relationship or history with this person but my turn of phrase "dramatic" was more general. A person has expressed an opinion about a football team and where they will finish in the league. That's the context I'm commenting on.

To be clear, that reads like having cancer is trivial which it is not. I can't comprehend what anyone is going through facing that. My point is about football and other options on that. Sorry if I've upset anyone.

Well, I disagree wholeheartedly with that. Anyone who says someone's a bad parent for because of anything trivial is a prick. My comment is about his opinion on Everton and their ability to stay in the league. I've not commented on anything he's said about individuals.

Agree to disagree. I've got loads of mates with mad options (got some of my own). I've stopped caring about what non Evertonians think some time ago. Waste of energy and Barry just a voice. It's fine. Changes nothing and what it's all about IMO
