Someday I may manage to tell the whole story of how, after my cancer, I moved in with an old friend and her kids "for a few months" until I could get into cheaper housing.
That was five years ago and now I'm a mom to 4 kids (16 to 28) and have a very platonic life partner. Life is weird, y'all.
