Not much on TV tonight, so I started to design my dream mid-century house

I regularly find myself whistling "Winning Run" from Super Hang-On. I kind of hope that one day somebody will recognise it and it'll be the beginning of a beautiful friendship

Gotta love charity shops.
This will never, ever find a buyer

Did a crossword with my gran. Clue was "an overabundance". I thought excess, surplus, extravagance – too much of something. The answer turned out to be "plethora", which I think of as being "more than enough, but not too much". I've noticed before that computer-generated crosswords don't get nuance.

The 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud in 1985's View To A Kill was cast as a symbol of aristocracy and old-money values. If 2026 Bond smoked around in a 2003 Phantom, he'd look more like his pub was doing quite well or he'd sold a lot of hot tubs.

No pics for proof, but today I saw a Redcorn scrap collection lorry carrying two cars: An Alfa Romeo MiTO and.... a mossy Type 4 Fiat Croma.

First fill-up for the i3.
Gotta love a nine-litre fuel tank!

Emotional day today.
Peugeot 306 (aka Donkey) is leaving us for a new life on the South coast with a very sympathetic new owner.
Nicola has owned it since she was 18 (... two decades ago). Life goes on, and the i3 has big shoes to fill.

There is nothing I dislike about the BMW i3's dashboard

Your occasional reminder that the first-gen Volvo S40 was quite a good looking car.
Also virtually unique in having side marker lights in the UK.

We have this base-spec BMW i4 loan car for the weekend, and it rounds off potholes with real dexterity.
Hooray for proper tyre sidewalls.

Pains me to say it, but the Tesla Model Y's rear lights, with their indirect lighting, look terrific. Kinda wish they were on a different car.

Somehow I didn't have a brochure for my wife's car. A shameful situation now resolved.
