Looking out for number one
Markerposts are meant to start at one end of a road and count the kilometres to the other. But things are never that simple.

The maintenance cost doesn’t bear thinking about, nor does the potential effect on public transport funding in London in a world where all this had to be maintained.

Ah OK, not the same junction - but many of the same places. Would be amazing to find out how far it extended and how many signs there were.
