i've been "studying" animation for three years and i only have stuff to show that i can count on *one* hand

i want to dedicate the years after my degree to actually learn the things i studied in uni because i really do think it's fun (without shitty profs teaching). i think that's just sad to say.

i don't know how to animate and i'm in animation school. my professor said i was the best in his class only because he refused to teach and everyone else either failed or got the lowest grade possible

i feel ashamed of that. but i don't know what to do about it with my workload now 🥲

i specifically study animation and i have only ever animated in two subjects. one being an "animation fundamentals" subject that was required, and the other being my thesis

they already expected you to know how to animate during the fundamentals class, too....

i'm not saying art school is bad for everyone, but it absolutely favors those who are already skilled fundamentally and understand the industry's workflow
