Science is political. It wouldn't necessarily have to be partisan.
But when one party is opposed to science-based policy, scientists have a choice between saying "you're right, thoughts and prayers are probably as effective as reducing carbon emissions" or saying "fuck that."

At some point, it might be more useful to stop framing #X, #Meta, #TikTok, & everything happening in current #SocialMedia developments under the term #Disinformation & instead call it what it is: #Propaganda. #Apparatus – they're building it in plain sight.

Heute wird eine Studie zur Verbesserung wirksamer Beteiligung in Wien bei der AK Stadttagung vorgestellt. Das Partizipationsbüro konnte dafür in Workshops wertvolle Ideen sammeln und mit @foresight-institut.bsky.social & @tamaraehs.bsky.social @dietergremel.bsky.social praxisnahe Ansätze erarbeiten.
