Don't get me wrong. Everything I've seen from Ted Lieu says he's one of the good ones, but frankly, he wasn't chosen for this. All eight aren't facing elections for years or are retiring.

Right? We dont pay state tax per se, however, everything we buy is taxed to the brim by the state, making the effective tax much higher overall.
