The political novel, 'A Fistful of Aces' lists 37 pieces of major legislation for the common good passed by Democrats in the period 1933-2022. All 37 bills were opposed by Republicans. Forget focusing on the extremist Trump and hammer Republicans by showing, not just talking about, their opposition.

We encourage Democrats to ask for the order, the first principle of selling. Listen candidates: you are selling. How do you ask for the order? It's simple. Do as the candidate in the political novel 'A Fistful of Aces' does. He leads a chant from his audiences: "Vote, Vote, Vote Democratic!

Democrats: Use the value of people-in-the-street interviews. You know the benefits of 92 years of Democratic-sponsored legislation. You will be surprised to learn how many voters haven't thought about it. Politics has heavy components of marketing and sales. Sell your benefits and ask for the order.

Democrats: Sell the benefits of your legislative record hard now, using a heavy load of visuals. Talk is not enough when you seek competitive advantage. Achieve that by not just talking about the benefits you deliver. Show them. The optic nerve is 22 times stronger than the auditory nerve. Use it.

Pairing Democrats with Republicans in health-care discussions is laughable. Democrats legislated Medicare, Medicaid, the ACA and children's health initiatives. Republicans voted against all. Vote Democratic in '26 and '28 to save these programs. And read 'A Fistful of Aces and a Hatful of Faces.'
