Excited to share that I joined the Dry Bean Breeding and Genetics Lab at Michigan State University last month as a Research Associate. I’ll be working on projects focused on the genomics of the white mold pathogen in dry beans and advancing resistance to anthracnose in dry beans.

Glad to have completed my Ph.D. in Plant Pathology with a dual degree in International Agriculture and Development at Penn State.

Just got back from the UN Science and Technology Forum—what an incredible experience! I was honored to represent the Young Scientists Group and Penn State. One of the highlights was an inspiring conversation with Dr. Bernhard Langerich on the role of youth in driving innovation and research.
