Sunday, October 19th, day after No Kings protest. My wife went to a @50501movement.bsky.social bake sale, sponsored by Evergreen Resistance. A twelve year old boy baked and decorated this cake to help the resistance. We bought and ate it. For the Resistance. 😄

Hundreds of inflatables, every meme imaginable. This felt like Mardi Gras !

Hawthorn Bridge, filled with joyous protesters and a swathe of signs. Boom boxes carried by marchers played an awesome 'protest mix'. Third street march. Protesters, signs and a 'riding duck' inflated costumes. Chanting 'Whose streets ? Our streets!' Third street march. A couple of inflatables ( I think Squidward ? ). Palestinian flag flies. We chanted 'Hey hey, ho ho, donold trump has got to go'. Waterfront Park, just arrived and not even close to the battleship memorial ( where the organizers are speaking ). Speakers throughout the park let us hear them. I am only showing the back of peoples heads in case identities become an issue.
