My assessment is that the African descent population in the US is not high but gets attention disproportionately. African Americans are ~14%. Latino Americans are ~20%. The African descent population from slavery times is much lower. I won't count migration after 1865 with slavery ancestry in the US
The US, for a long time now, has been the engine of the world in many aspects, economy, military, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, arts, cinema, liberty, freedom, sports, etc, and yet I don't get why many Americans come short on African descent people while the world keeps advancing.
I don't get why MLK Day is on the January 19th when his birthday is on January 15th. Why the heck does it have to be the third Monday of January? Why not fix it on January 15th like December 25th, and if it falls on a Weekend, give Monday off. There were too many bozos in the US who wrote such rules

I was wondering about the assassination of MLK Jr and Malcolm X. The US never had an armed revolution after the late 18th century and hence the populace is not used to it and they killed them. In other parts of the world, things moved quickly on this front and that's why the US has no far-left wing.

It has been many decades since the French left Africa. South Africa was the last bastion of segregation but ultimately the leadership went to natives. Ultimately, things turned out great because there was momentum. In the US, they want to keep going with the nonsensical stuff on both political sides

The only way to uplift historically disadvantaged people in the US, IF their ancestors were here during the slavery period in the US, is economic upliftment. Only bozos and toddlers talk about people in terms of crayons. There is a whole continent called Africa that was looted by European invaders.

I rarely find one approaching this issue of talking about people in crayons but this is a must-watch. If humans were any different from each other they would have a different physiology. It is a massive myth propagated in the last few centuries that humans are different.

It is one of the best videos that dives deep into the role of religion/faith in the US society and politics. There are some strange myths created in the US in the name of religion that cause people to vote against their own interests. Religion is a business-for-profit here.

In democracies, the elections are not won on democratic bozo accounts network but on the voter turnout. In the AngloSphere, both Australia & Canada showed that even after Trump’s win in 2024. The only method is to mobilize the American populace to vote, or one can win a meme-election not a real one.
This is the situation of the MAGA movement at its peak power; imagine what people are going to do when their Jesus Trump is out of the Presidency? No force on earth can change the unavoidable situation and its results as the MAGA movement has not learned from the American Revolution and its lessons.
If I had to tell all Americans one thing - don't confuse Movements with Revolutions. When was the last time Americans started a Revolution, in the late 18th century for Independence? It is a business in the US to start any kind of movement from the far-left to the far-right but not the Revolutions.

Any revolution against tyranny needs the support of the poorest of the poor for some support, moral or material support. In our case, the poorest of the poor is the backbone of MAGA, hence no armed revolution can help. This class of MAGA will be quashed by voting only and when their Jesus Trump dies

Now let's say we have the inspiration from Washington’s Continental Army. Where would this force seek shelter? In some forests, remote places, etc? Almost all rural & remote Americans are MAGA.
It is an impossible case. The desire for revolution is from the urban class & voting>80% is the best way.

I see the desire for revolution in the US. The energy and momentum are there and it is possible to raise a guerrilla armed force. There are only a few problems as last time American militias were raised against the monarchy and we have to go all the way back to the Continental Army for inspiration.

That's the whole point of posting my comment to get the far-left agenda in front. Voicing on the biggest issues in whatever thread may be. Amnesty for tax-paying undocumented immigrants, Universal Healthcare, heavily raising taxes on billion-dollar profit corporations, denouncing Burqa/Hijab, etc.

As a far-left, I get, understand, and have seen and observed firsthand the grievances and hurt feelings of tons of non-college and less formally educated people in many countries but I can't understand electing a billionaire to lead them and solve their grievances🤷‍♂️. ~37M are below poverty line in 🇺🇸👇

I was testing American centrists' other day on BlueSky if they support the 2nd Amendment, and they caved as expected 😊. No far-left would be against gun rights and the 2nd Amendment. Centrists & “leftists” need to read the Constitution. They’re “surrendering-camp” and good for candidacy in the US 🤷‍♂️.

America is already a great country. It is not some fluke that the US became the leader of the world since World War 2, and is currently #3 in population (after India and China), is #1 in Military strength, is #1 in economy, and invented Chips, computers, cell phones, and the internet to name a few.
I’d always think of Africa as a country not a continent same as I think of India as a subcontinent. The Divide and Rule strategy and randomly drawn maps were the salient points of the British Monarchy.
So I laugh at people who look down on countries like China, India, or Africa. Maybe get Messi to help Argentina.

I’m further left to this Far-left faction as I have zero regard for religion in policies and in global and local issues whether Muslim Personal laws based on Sharia or the Palestine issue for example. All humans are identical.

The most prominent mistake people make in politics is to equate the Far-left with one of its factions which is Communism. The US has had nothing to do with the development of the left-wing. India is too complex for any wing with hundreds of parties and the right-wing tends to be regressive anywhere.

There are some professions where being one of the youngest is not a good idea for longevity. Politics is one of them unlike tech. Obama is the 5th youngest President of the US in its history: a term-limited position. Harris made the same mistake by giving up her Senate seat for a powerless VP role.

My wish list is long but those 3 objectives will hold for my lifetime. My wishlist for the US is basic stuff Universal Healthcare, demolishing the insurance-based strange healthcare system, increasing taxes on $1M+ annual earners, demolishing Islam, and enhancing the economy and military strength.

Trump’s second administration has massively underestimated many issues. Trump is going to get buried anyway in history, on citizen killings/rape/pedophilia while he is alive for another couple of decades. The question is for others. The method is to ignite questioning in the MAGA voting bloc itself.
I still remember when a US soldier was killed, it was in the headlines all over the TV Channels - this was in the early 2000s but before 2016. Now we have armed forces recklessly killing domestically in vehicular situations with no signs of armed resistance. It’s a visible and yet a temporary shift.
The biggest win for the US democracy is that the MAGA movement doesn't have the strength as they anticipated even with Presidential wins. Although I’m a Far-left, even the ultra-MAGA, mega gun collectors of my circle would know MAGA ends with Trump, and young minions like JD, etc are for roles only.

If Harris had a longer runway left instead of a couple of months, we wouldn't be in Trump mess, again. If that moron Republican FBI Director, Comey, had not misused his “feelings”, we wouldn't have a Trump Presidency in the first place.

The pardon comes in the last weeks of President Biden's time in office and despite his public assurances in the past that he would neither pardon nor commute his son's sentence.
