I love this album. I love the story behind it too, the singer spent years recovering from ME writing songs. They recorded and released the album as part of a business course at college, it was so brilliant Geffin offered them £milion advance, which they turned down.

If it is a flight I follow my empty seat on the tracker just in case it crashes or gets seized by terrorists like in an 80s action movie.

Whenever I have tickets for something and don’t go (which is quite often) I always imagine my empty seat. Your empty seat would be around Newcastle by now.

If you have not lived with cats then you don’t understand how they rule the home completely. You spend some of the time going “you silly thing” when they get stuck somewhere yet again and a lot more time being sat on. They are wonderful things and they drive you mad sometimes.

I have only seen it twice. I once went to a film night which showed Threads and When the Wind Blows as a double bill, one person literally turned green. Threads has one of the best IMDB cast lists ever.

Thanks for this, I have had a long morbid interest in this kind of thing. Have you seen Threads? If not I recommend it, but it is an incredibly grim watch.

It's quite easy to understand, you convert the vector to virtual raster, and save to KML, then you can geocode if the AUP allows it but be careful of the CRS. Then you can model the DEM using the plugin and add the two formats. And yes I did mean accessible, thank you. 😘
