One of the best things about Scalia being gone is the unapologetic use of legislative history from the SCOTUS bench with no hissy fits thrown.

Most people don’t realize that one of the hallmarks of a parliamentary system (and one of the things that makes it far superior to our stupid presidential system) is that government shutdowns are essentially impossible. If the ruling party can’t pass a supply bill, it triggers an election.

Trump sues for billions when people tell the truth about him. The Democrats should not vote for cloture unless Trump resigns. That should be their opening offer. THAT is the Art of the Deal.

This morning I read about a new stochastic interpretation of quantum mechanics and then I did some network optimization and AP node scripting via SSH but I cannot figure out how to turn the ringer on and off on my new iPhone and now it’s nap time.

People talk about the First Amendment like it’s some kind of magic talisman. We also have an Equal Protection Clause and two Due Process Clauses. They are all just ink on paper if you don’t leaders and citizens that internalize those values. The Weimar Constitution made promises too.

Ok listen up this is important: if you have a generic last name like “Robinson” then don’t name your son something generic like “Tyler.” Name him Starlord, or Xerxes or Photonbeam. Otherwise, when there’s a national manhunt and every Tyler Robinson gets targeted by a rightwing mob, your kid is safe.
