Shona Robison: “While the UK Gov't has frozen all income tax thresholds, in Scotland, the basic and intermediate rate thresholds will increase this year by 3.5%.

We've just had to pay a total of £5085 in Home Office and lawyer's fees to submit an application for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK for my husband. In total we'll have spent over £13000 in getting him the right to live here. We're lucky, many couldn't afford it. UK Immigration laws are cruel.
