Sounds like an excellent bridge! It was great having you on the call.

Don't believe it when they say you lack courage

Develop your "take action" skill

Reclaim your time by improving one little action, then the next little action, then the next

It's worth it, it's realistic, and you can do it!

This went longer than I expected, but it's because I'm passionate about REAL productivity

Real LIFE productivity, for real people

The big names delegate thousands of man-hours worth of action to others—not because they have lots of courage but because they have lots of money

And for the love of all that's holy, don't lament your lack of courage, or willpower, or discipline

If you think attacking your own character will make you more productive, well...

Has it yet?

Start with what's in front of you. Do it. Figure out how to do it better next time

Don't worry about priority—as your work becomes more efficient, more bandwidth opens up to CONSIDER priorities

THEN you can make sure your newfound action mechanics are pointed at the right work

Decide how that project you just started can be laid out so future tasks and notes you capture for it will grab your attention when you need them to

Don't "think big"

Think little. Solve little problems. Make each LITTLE action more efficient
February 5, 2025 at 7:54 PM
And then, when you capture your roles—the identities you embody in your life and work—THEN you'll take more fulfilling action

So don't "have courage"

Figure out how that idea you just had can be captured so that it shows up when it's useful to see it again

Don't start with why. Don't... summon up?... courage.

👉 Learn how to take action

When you capture tasks and notes that surface when you need them, you'll take more effective action

When you capture recurrence in templates and automations, you'll take more efficient action

Big names in productivity coast by on platitudes

They say "just have courage" and we nod

They say "set audacious goals" and we cry "Amen"

Meanwhile, very few of these thought leaders are sharing any thoughts that actually lead us anywhere...

You don't write page numbers on your screen in dry erase marker as you scroll? I must be doing it wrong

UPDATE: Lightning bugs have arrived

Also worth noting: I posted earlier about a productivity course of mine, on both platforms

I have c. 2.5k followers on Twitter. 4 likes

I have 5 (not 5k, five TOTAL) followers on Bluesky. 3 likes

One wonders if Twitter is worth it even for reach...
