“The teenager told the officers he was a U.S. citizen, but an officer proceeded to break the car’s driver’s side window and detain him.”
Repulsive violation of 4A. Trump has given ICE the green light to act like jackbooted thugs.

If it’s up to Trump and the Texas GOP, they’ll do it whenever they want.

“Quiet, Piggy” would have been an appropriate response to Pigott.

SCOTUS could decide that TX must use the previous map, but I doubt it. My guess is the right-wingers will either say the new gerrymandered map is fine, or else it’s too close to the election to change it.

That’s part of their usual plan. All the way back to Bush v Gore. Drag things out until time runs out, and then declare Republicans have to get their way, because it’s too late to get things right.

I’d go with “Look who’s talking,” or “Pot, kettle, black.”

So Musk’s AI chatbot tells the lies he likes. Big surprise.

Trump’s pardon list is full of criminals convicted of fraud, money laundering, and corruption. He’s a lifelong member of their club.

“Harmful or offensive touching” is an element of tort battery, not a criminal offense. Notice that “harmful “ and “offensive” are explicitly separate, i.e., “offensive touching” is not “bodily harm.” The government is full of baloney.

Wow, when did Moses Mikey decide to start campaigning for Democrats?

Should have been jailed in 2024, but Cannon and SCOTUS helped him run out the clock on his remaining criminal trials, at least one of which appeared to be slam-dunk against him.

They’re “record” numbers for sure—just not the way Trump means. He, abetted by Republicans in Congress, turned the US economy from literally the envy of the world to a dumpster fire. The Trumpcession, Reverse Robin Hood, wildly exacerbated income and wealth disparity.

On that we agree.
November 6, 2025 at 1:31 AM
And yet he’s the one literally resorting to communism now, giving government ownership stake in multiple businesses. Government owning the means of production—sound familiar?

Oh, good one! And 100% true! 💯🎯

Yes, they lied incessantly about it, making blatantly false claims, while weakening it by preventing it from going as far as it needed to in order to work optimally.

Van Drew damn well knows that Rs don’t have a plan, never did. His statement essentially says “the Republican plan is to make a plan that Republican politicians like.” That “plan” is to make health care unaffordable for all except the rich and employees of large, generous businesses.

Aren’t you forgetting something? It was signed by Romney, but it was a Democratic-dominated state legislature that put it together. Of course, they were limited to options that would be acceptable to Romney, so it was essentially bipartisan.
November 3, 2025 at 1:06 PM
Partly, but not precisely. It was essentially a Democratic plan, but Republican opposition prevented making it as good as possible, so Democrats had to settle for a suboptimal bill.
