Recent events had me feel that my final commission would be of Tessiha. She would be depicted as having shed the shackles of this mortal realm - her dress changing from blue to brilliant white, her image emitting an almost blinding white light to erase the darkness that has consumed this world.
Every single item on that table was likely picked/produced by someone who she would instantly try to have deport, revoke their citizenship, or that she had already called a godless heathen.

Are there consequences in law when litigating w/ an opposing party who has a proven track record of acting in bad faith? I mean, there is the assumption that the government will act in accordance with law - but what happens when you can no longer rely on that presumption? 1/2

Always thought it was sad that Ayn Rand—one of the most successful authors of children's fantasy books of all time—had little enough saved in the bank in her old age that she had to rely on public assistance until her death, but I'm glad it was there for her.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you have friends struggling through the shutdown, consider inviting them over for a family dinner this week. Make too much. Insist they take leftovers home. Some folks can't say they need help out loud but will appreciate the kindness.
