That was...way too much. But yay!

Yeah. If they give up another one I'll be sick.

Would this be a ticky-tak reason to overturn a goal, yes. Will I be mad, no.

This is definitely a me issue, the game looks fine on my laptop.

No, that's wrong. They moved troops to the West Bank because Bibi could only maintain his position by selling out to G'vir and his ilk and they're obsessed with the West Bank. The IDF failed to heed warnings because of arrogance and a refusal to listen to the women issuing the warnings.

The idea that Secretary Clinton who was in the White House for the Oslo Accords and served as Secretary of State could possibly have a better grasp of history than college students who don't know which river and which sea they're shouting about should not be controversial.

I don't think you realize that you're changing the subject, which was propaganda on TikTok and its effect on political discourse, especially amongst young people without historical knowledge. Which has been significant and poisonous, and has a ton of antisemitism baked in.
December 3, 2025 at 3:47 PM
And being propagandized to believe that Israel committed 10/7 and there were no rapes, and that, if there were, those Israelis deserved it and Hamas was mighty and is going to commit 10/7 over and over, really is a problem.

She's talking about being in a class regarding conflict resolution. It's hard to have meaningful discussions about resolving conflicts when you're ignorant of the background and history of the conflict. And it's bad to have a lot of protesters and advocates chanting slogans they dont understand.
December 3, 2025 at 3:01 PM
If you listen to the clip, she's almost entirely discussing a lack of knowledge on the history and background of the conflict. And she's not wrong.

It's not rational, but it's real. I've seen so much resistance to inheritance taxes, from people who'll never inherit a dime (and would not be affected by inheritance taxes when they pass). Since they are otherwise liberal voters, I just accept it as a different POV.
December 2, 2025 at 7:36 PM
That sort of argument will lose you so many gettable votes.

They're investigating and planning on prosecuting. Jumping straight to impeachment with zero Republican support is strategically useless. Dems are in the minority, they do not have the votes to impeach, let alone convict. There is no button they can press to change that.
December 2, 2025 at 2:00 AM
It's so obviously a bad move for Dems to jump to impeachment before an investigation, one which a number of Republicans seem willing to engage in good faith. The idea that Dems are going to get anywhere by constantly drafting articles of impeachment that won't even get a vote is inane.
December 2, 2025 at 1:34 AM
Because Dems didn't have sufficient votes in Congress to impeach and the Republicans who captured the Supreme Court immunized Trump. This is purely a question of who had sufficient power, and the answer wasn't Dems.
December 1, 2025 at 2:25 PM
I'm so sorry.
November 30, 2025 at 10:21 PM
We, the people, need to give enough Dems enough power to do what needs to be done. And we, the people, need to keep supporting Dems to entrench reforms. If voters don't do their part, Dems can't work miracles.

Perhaps I take his point differently, not that it's not feasible to help the needy, but that it's very important to be rigorous about what needs actually exist to address them efficiently. I guess if your needs are not particularly dire, that might feel like an attack?

Isn't it more "yes poor people are suffering and we should do more to help them, while also realizing that in absolute terms our economy and society has made tremendous progress, even for the poor, and it's counterproductive to pretend the economy is in shambles and everyone is destitute."
