The Witch Hazel is waking up! This native shrub is known for blooming in the depths of winter. Several are just starting to pop in Robert’s Garden (by 116th Street), and you can look for more along the 148th Street tunnels, and at Neufeld Playground at 76th Street.

Thank you to Evercore volunteers for their work in Riverside Park this year! Volunteers worked alongside staff to paint fence lines, remove invasive plant species, and collect trash from the Hudson River coastline. This essential work helped make the park greener and cleaner!
