Nooo they took his ears

Since his main ability was using his ears to swing around and attack enemies (I think?) Wouldn't it make sense if the ears were articulated and extendable?

for context, I never followed or interacted with any post of that kind, bluesky just decided that stuff has to be on my feed for no reason.

Shadow literally stayed by Metal's side at the end of Sonic Heroes, I would've seen him having sympathy towards Metal due to their similar origin.
