And here I am being reminded of how social media sucks because I hate having to try to cut up my thoughts into a stupid character limited thread but if I made a blog post even fewer people would see it

In fact, there is one particular band who conveyed a strong message that being mediocre was alright. Their "mediocrity" consumed my life for several years and supported me during the first serious depressive period of my life. It was, in fact, perfect, for how it found me and what it did for me

For me there are two main distinct categories:
- genuinely incredible music
- hugely impactful but technically not perfect, however, i did believe they were at the time, and can something with such a profound impact not be categorised as perfect for the sheer power it had in its imperfection?

They are very skilled musicians but also a bunch of people from different places who have come together and had a great time doing what they do and that really comes through, this is what art is about

I don't think I can actually process this news given the amount of possible options for everything just increased INFINITELY

I've been trying to at least figure out how to share art consistently but without ruining my mental health so I've tentatively been doing that. But I don't know where anything is going
