86 years ago soviet union attacked and Winter War started. soviet union thought they can invade Finland in two weeks. Winter War lasted 105 days, we kept our independence, although the price was high. Keeping our democracy has been cornerstone for us as a free nation and who we are today.

It's that time of the year again. 112 years old Christmas tree from Mynämäki is up in Turku-Finland. It's 22 meters long and it has 726 lamps. I wish everyone happy and peaceful holiday season 🎄

Finland' top service dogs of 2025. Police dog of the year Hero, who spotted armed suspect and immediately rushed into action and saved lifes. Border guard dog of the year Peetu. His handler Keijo Valta says, Peetu is strong-minded, social, loyal and sharp.
