Last night, my players surprised me (they always will) when they boarded an astral ship and went to space. I was saved by the only non-Worm book I have at the table. I am reminded just how valuable this resource is. It gave me the freedom to adapt and still run the game in a radically new direction.

YES using geasa as taboos - and having taboos being actually well reflected in the game - is my shit.
The gimmick is that you gain a measure of potency from observing a taboo, but sometimes you're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

To exit it, his men have to dunk him into barrels of water.

Inspiration is everywhere. Today, went to the closest show cavern near me. Going on Monday got me a private tour. The tour guide lit a candle to show how dark it would be to explore with candles and torches! Also, check out the cave map.

I like Against the Darkmaster a lot. It's a great MERP retroclone that cleans up the text, streamlines it for modern gaming, and wears its influences on its sleeve. It also has this heavy metal aesthetic that I love. I love how they're infused in this table of Passions.

I was in my blog drafts this morning and found a post from 2016 that clearly was the beginning of the CASTLE AUTOMATIC project (later built out by #dungeon23 and then revised into a full megadungeon, coming soon!)
Look at the first scrap and compare it to the intro blurb of the completed one
