Beneficial insectary specializing in parasites for fly control. We grow 3 species of fly parasites, Pteromalids, lacewing, Chrysoperla comanche, a general predator, and Lindorus (Rhizobius) lopanthe, a scale eating ladybug. We distribute other insects.

Do you have any parasite issues with your sheep on pasture? Any bird mites on your chickens? We have some biological solutions...
We have a flock of black runner ducks that graze our food forest on our acre of land in the middle of the Ventura oil field that are very healthy. So amusing.

Sierra Club California Agriculture committee has been exploring Agri-Voltaics - what are the considerations for promoting and approving of these projects?
Many plants do better with 30% shade and so solar overhead will improve yield.
Just need to raise the panels and armor the electric connnections

You can put off worrying about the toxins used destroying the immune system of your kids until later, its a good trade-off.

Mix up some sugar, water, boric acid and a little honey - put in some bait stations and the worker girls will carry the bait to their queen - toxin builds in the queen and the colony collapses. No need for hazardous materials. Recipe at bottom of page.

We have a flock of black runner ducks that graze in our food forest, and provide us with eggs, and a lot of amusement. Their food includes our dead insect "waste" and minced squash from our ladybug culture. Consider Muscovy ducks if you live in a city, they don't quack and are very personable.
