yeah i think one of my favorite things about superheroes is when they retire. which is probably extremely former captain america fan of me

i’m not a comics reader at all (pay no attention to the fact that i bought a comic this weekend, i’m normal about superman i Swear) so i will not be reading any of them! but i believe u

and then her daughter didn’t have any powers but she wanted to be a superhero sooo bad she stole some tech from her parents’ lab & set out to be a vigilante. not much of the game was played but mika “pyrite” flint lives in my heart <3

mine was much cooler, she was like a wonder woman/thor type who got expelled from her dimension for stopping them from taking over earth or whatever, fell in love w an engineer studying extradimensional tech, and mostly gave up traditional superheroing in favor of being a community leader

yeah it’s awesome!!! there are occasional funny little typos but

it was written by two women and it really shows!!! very interested in the intricacies of relationships, both emotional and material. there were moments where i just had to pause to be like damn what a picture of a character you’ve created here. it’s really such a good time

lmao the twist pissed me off so bad when i watched it like i just wanted a movie about xenolinguistics :( i had to go n read the short story it was based on to try n accept it, i was so annoyed
