I did so much cannibalism in Divinity: Original Sin 2, happy to see we'll probably get to continue that legacy.

I'm so glad that Ireland (Tír na nÓg) is an important country in Shadowrun because it means we get cyberpunk art set in Ireland features heroes up against like An Garda Síochána.

I think "What was the best game of 10 years ago?" is an infinitely more interesting question than which game that came out this year which you happened to play, did you like?

Something I worry genuinely will become a lost art is mods for video games where you just clip sections of existing voice lines to get like Fred Durst the lore accurate New Vegas companion.

Controlling Wasteland 1 is definitely an adjustment period that will last several hours.
But now I'm setting up macros on function keys and starting to think that the game entering "U+1+S+1+SPACEBAR" everytime I hit F1 is super useful and lots of games could benefit from that.

It's a shame that "ludonarrative dissonance" got so slandered, partly by the way the term was used (it doesn't matter that Nathan Drake kills a lot of pirates in an action adventure story, that's how those stories go) because it is useful.

Disliking Bloodlines 2 less as I go. I got overwhelmed at the start with like, hating the combat, that fisheye lens, character building, Kindred don't work like that, what do you mean "Anarch Ghoul" is some generic disposable goon enemy, those awful side quests, the name "Phyre"

I like how Riley's character goes in S5 of Buffy. Realising his GF isn't that into him, sees sex workers, still not wanting to pull the break up trigger as she deals with serious family shit. A drawn out break up.
It's the best thing to do with the character, like way more interesting here than S4.

I got Dragon Age: The Veilguard for my birthday last year and hated it. It was however, very interesting in picking apart all the ways I hated it and what didn't work for me.
This year I got Bloodlines 2. Haven't started it yet. While I am hoping it's actually good, please at least be interesting.
