Formerly, Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan
A new global index ranking 188 countries on inclusion, justice, and security places Afghanistan at the bottom. Women and girls face widespread restrictions on education, employment, healthcare, movement, and access to justice.

Imagine if every girl in a Canadian classroom disappeared in a single day.

That’s what happened in Afghanistan on Sep 12, 2021, when girls in Grades 7–12 were banned from school.

But Afghan girls keep studying however they can.
