I bit the bullet and I'm currently installing #rust, via #macports.
It's taking way longer than I expected but it also seems to fetch stuff (windows-targets-0.48.0.crate ??) which doesn't mae much sense. I guess I should have looked at the possible variant flags :)

Last year I did Elixir which was certainly fun, but not much of a jump from my usual Ruby.
It's been a long time since I used a low level language tho, so maybe worth a try.

After a decade in this apartment I finally bought a programmable thermostat.
