Big Hurra for the first authors Alex and Egor. Published in Mol Cell, doi.org/10.1016/j.mo..., similar nice work from the rappsilber lab in the same issue. As usual accompanied by a small illustration

A new tool from our lab :-). Together with the Brachvogel, Bogeski and Mielenz labs. We developed a genetically encoded sensor to monitor activity of the dipeptidases DPP8 and DPP9 in cells allowing us to ask fundamental questions about their spatiotemporal regulation. DOI: 10.26508/lsa.202403076

A new study from the @riemerlab.bsky.social and the bange lab. We found a new mode how specific degradation motifs become unmasked by DPP8/9. Really nice work by Kim, Konstantin and Franziska. As usual accompanied by a special graphical abstract. doi.org/10.1038/s443...

Again, glutathione comes to the rescue. In yeast, Tsa1 oxidizes glutathione at moderate H2O2 concentrations when the TRX system becomes inactivated by oxidation. A study together with the Morganlab and the Depontelab. doi.org/10.1016/j.fr...

We just published a study on the first endogenous cysteine-free interactor of the mitochondrial disulfide relay - HAX1. HAX1 relies on MIA40 for folding and stability and does not require the redox fxn of MIA40. Nice collaboration w/ #ulrichlab. doi.org/10.1111/febs...
