It was dangerous to alert me that this Nelko label printer was $15 so now I'm printing labels everything in my house including my bookshelf.

I'm making each icon in ChatGPT, then adding the image to the label, and then printing them for my bookshelf.

I'm in love with labeling things.

Went to Fort Worth today to visit a friend and stopped in to the Kimbell which was absolutely gorgeous to look at the "Modern Art and Politics in Germany 1910-1945. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.
Head in Brass by Rudolf Belling (1925) A brass bust from 1925 representing a stylized female head with simplified, geometric features and a strand of metal sweeping across the face like hair. The sculpture blends expressive form with precision, suggesting emotion within abstraction. Although it appears as a modernist symbol of elegance, the piece once sparked controversy in Weimar Germany. Critics debated whether it conveyed the spiritual essence of a human or reduced the face to pure surface and design. Belling resisted easy classification, working in a style that navigated between Expressionism and New Objectivity. The sculpture was later denounced as “degenerate art” by the Nazis, but it survived and was reintroduced to the public in 1977 by the Nationalgalerie in Berlin. The Early Train by Oskar Nerlinger (1928) A 1928 painting using black, white, and red to depict a regimented scene of silhouetted workers walking in diagonal lines toward a train labeled “Berlin.” A bright red radio tower dominates the center, radiating beams that divide the composition into angular sections. The stylized forms and geometric layout evoke the structure and momentum of industrial labor. Nerlinger, a committed Communist, aimed to portray “a harder rhythm of life,” reflecting the mechanized, collective experience of the working class in Weimar-era Germany. The painting emphasizes locomotion and labor, using dramatic lighting, high contrast, and minimal color to capture both the alienation and coordination of modern urban work life. The work aligns with Nerlinger’s belief that modern art must serve revolutionary goals and reflect the struggles of the proletariat. I had ChatGPT make me into a doll. My only two prompts were a photo of me and to make me into an action figure and then the second to put me in a box with branding that suits me. ChatGPT may know too much about me.

I planted lavender in my front flower bed and now every single time I go out front it makes me happy. I'm really hoping that it will get enough sun to survive and that aerating the ground below it before I planted will give it good enough drainage.
