Thanks Michael!
Our local climate action group www.cabh.org.uk has adopted the penultimate sentence of "Our Fragile Moment" in our statement. We're just down the road from Exeter so I'm hoping other group members will come along.

Fantastic news. I have my reservation.

Whenever we’re at Arisaig or nearby we walk out there to Rhu. I think it was 1998 out there sitting on the rocks west of the beach when this otter ran up the gully right towards us. Did a double take and disappeared before my camera came up. No photo but never forgotten.

Ah but that’s different, that was based on long term fundamentals. Asking for another election is based on …er ….er ….er, sorry lost it 🙄 Oh yes, of course, media hype. 😳 Where long term fundamentals are really boring 🙄

When you drive past Loch Ailort on the way to “Ferness” (the beach, not the village, of course) 😉 I’ve so often wondered what Ardnish is like. Too old to get out there now but thank you for sharing a magical spot.

Saw your caption before the brilliant image and split second thought was “how the hell….”. Which was no doubt your intention 👍

That’s a seriously tricky beach to get to without water transport. Well done!

And the Eigg school children were on one of their visits to Muck. What a way of life for them! I really hope they don’t strain to get away to the “city” when they grow up. Rebels against their parents’ dream? 😳

We were on Muck in May this year and there was a big white horse wandering around that picnic table. Which was rather neat with Horse Island in the background.

We try to get there most years. Your daughter is very fortunate indeed.

Whole lotta scenery though 😉

Let us hope lettuce wins 🙄

Are reports of AMOC-weakening/collapse concerns going to muddy the waters?
November 21, 2024 at 12:05 PM
Wonderful. Canna, Rhum, Eigg, Skye and Arisaig/Morar across the horizon if I’m not mistaken. 🥰

Oh and I did have a cup of tea whilst reading! 😉 And the correct amount of water was boiled with electricity from my solar. 😊 And I’m not in the 1% 😱

Excellent, thanks for the link. Read from start to finish and agree with every word. Two & a half years old and no doubt some of the stats are even worse now. And the call for change even more prescient.
