Tentacle time.
2mm brass rod, bent to shape, wrapped in foil then a layer of putty. Minor texturing. Over this a thin layer of GS which was heavily textured with details added in.
Start of the body work for the tentacle to fit into.

I considered a GUO one, but it was too fancy. I wanted a big lump of a thing.

Took my youngest niece to the National Football Museum in Manchester today and then out for food.
She's having a hard time & needed a day out away from things.
I still feel a bit crap, and it has been a long day, but well worth it.

After months of waiting my #TrenchCrusade warband have been despatched.
Warbands were sent out in order, I picked the last one to be sent out, plus accessory sprues which also delayed it. So one of the last to get their physical rewards.
If I'd known at the start I may have gone all digital...

Of particular interest is the rules for "Landmarks of Ghyran", I am already partial to building Nurgle terrain as it is, but this may be right up my alley.

The characters are just stunning. Nice blend of creepy and bloating with some body horror thrown in.
To get some Maggotkin leaders who aren't the usual 'Lord of...' with interesting back stories is nice.

Blight Kings & Rot Swords
Not that fussed by the new style of Blight Kings. May just get a set to mix in with my current ones for variety.
With Rot Swords I'm more positive, like the models & again they bring something different. Bigger unit size, so less Elite? Good.

Festus & the Sloven Knights.
I wasn't expecting these, maybe a new Festus model, but not as a daemon prince.
Really loving the Knights, giving the Maggotkin something different.
Gorgeous models, looking forward to adding both to my army. Maybe a couple of Knight units.
