If you can do that then I imagine you could do 1RM at 245 now for sure. I’d start trying 5 sets of 1RM with 2-3 min rest between at 245 now. Build your way up to 3-5 reps after several weeks of that

We talking 1RM or full set or 8? Both are doable but you can get to 1RM much quicker than that for sure

One last thing about BLM - I hate how much he broadcasts to the audience. I don't mind some of his transparency with x roll giving certain details or rolling in front of the table, but giving us Murray's portent rolls ahead of her using them ruined some of the surprise

I'll never forgive BLM for not slow-rolling what occurred in ep4 with Occtis. Based on Cooldown, it was going to happen at some point, but IMO it should have been later...like, not before episode 10 at least. I need more time to get to know the characters before someone undergoes a change like that

I don't know much about Alexander's background but I enjoyed him in EXU Divergence and continuing to enjoy him in CR4. I think he's likely the 2nd most green player at the table behind Whitney, but he's brilliant and Occtis is great.

I absolutely love what Ashley is doing with Vaelus. The character intro was fantastic and she's just a fucking badass and we love to see it. Also, and I have no straight bone in my body, but she was hot in the 1st episode.

Okay, don't hate me but similar to Liam I'm just bored with Aabria. All her characters feel the same to me. They might differ on backstory but personality-wise, they're just her. And some of the responses to things her character gives feels unearned or without enough build-up.

I have not made my mind up on Mercer as a player. His character's intro was a bit jarring relative to the other intros, but not bad. I'll be curious to see what he does with Sir Julien, though I'm cautiously skeptical at the moment. Subsequent episodes with him were better than the first for sure

Marisha has gotten sooooo good. Keyleth was clearly her first character and read better in the animation. Beau was fine but nothing I was excited for. Laudna was a revelation and Murray is fun as hell. I've loved seeing her grow as a player and excited to see what she does with Murray

Taliesin has had a great character (Caduceus), a mid character (Percy) and two awful ones (Ashton, Molly). I'm actually excited for Bolaire, though. It's an odd character, but that works in his favor. The origins and concept are pretty brilliant. I hope he can continue to execute it well

This isn't her fault but as a new player she clearly stands out as on a different level than the others at the table. I think I'd rather have seen her as a guest star.

Sam is amazing as always and a consummate professional. Love his character, the backstory and revelations, etc. Cha-based characters are simply where he excels.
Similarly, Travis is fantastic. Playing a big guy just works for him and his timing with others is unmatched

I also feel like BLM's world building just isn't quite as good. The world and its history are super interesting, but how it's being conveyed and the lore provided has been semi-difficult to follow. It's definitely gotten clearer, though

As I said, I think BLM is great at short form but not open sandbox long form. Conversely, Mercer gives his players too much of a sandbox and doesn't railroad them till later. I wish we could blend these 2 people together somehow because their combined DM power would be limitless
