The first step for any peace in Ukraine must be the complete and utter withdrawal of Russian forces from ALL Ukraine territory, including Crimea, which they stole when they first invaded about a decade ago.

Yes, that's why I think hybrid cars should be exempt from any future electrification goals: they're a backdoor to just selling more gas cars. Only pure BEVs should count. We're many years past the time when PHEVs were actually meaningful stepping stones to EVs.

Cool. You should also note that Norway didn’t cave in to car companies and reverse their 2035 EV mandate, something I’m afraid can’t be said for Canada. Shame on whoever was behind THAT decision…
