I must admit our new third away shirt is rather superb. Bold & unique, a far cry from the copy & paste efforts of Adidas & Nike. Hummel have just elevated our appearance to the next level & I can’t wait to see all three kits in PL action. Right, what’s my CVV number again 😅 #safc

I’ve been very grateful that lately work has been keeping me busy, to the point that I’m somewhat sleep deprived. It’s part of the job, it happens & when sleep is available I’ll take it. That said…..in my desperate need of zzz, I still find myself playing Tom Watson’s goal from every angle 😅😴 #safc

I’m having a very contrasting day compared to yesterday 😅 I’m only here as I couldn’t resist the chance to see Ross Stewart again. Love that man.

Trying to comprehend how Luke O’Nien processed yesterday’s celebrations whilst completely high on morphine. Can only imagine how incredible he must have felt whilst constantly questioning reality #safc

It would be wrong not to reference RLB today. Goodness where to begin? His footballing brain is beyond my comprehension. He was meticulously, decisive & ultimately processed the reasoning to sub the departing Watson on to write himself into Wearside folklore. Masterclass #safc

It must be said that Patrick Roberts instigated that comeback. His quality came through on the biggest footballing stage & inspired our second half performance. It hasn’t come off most of the time this season but he’s so integral & deserved his chance in the Premier League #safc

At the 4th attempt I managed to celebrate a Wembley win with my Dad. I can’t express how emotional this moment is due to all the past heartache. The final whistle, the emotion, the tears, the jubilant embraces. Just an incredible moment I truly can’t put into words. Love my dad, love my club #safc

A very big decision needs to take place between now & my 1030 train tomorrow. Welcoming all thoughts & opinions on this one #safc

I’ve been really calm and collected over the last week. However just seeing the socials of the gathering red & white army in London has engaged the butterflies. Wish I could be there but I promise I’ll play catch up on Wembley Way tomorrow #safc

I remember acquiring my 2014 League Cup tickets via an Irish travel agency for £800 which included a hotel in Hackney. The tickets were posted A4 print outs that looked so sketchy yet miraculously worked. Sensing I’m probably going down the same route this week 😂 #safc

To all SAFC Bluesky Season Ticket holders who are unable to attend the final. I will be eternally grateful if I could take your ticket. Obviously you’ll be handsomely rewarded financially & will become my new best friend. #safc

Not sure why in my jubilation this has come to mind but assuming this is our final shirt. The last time we wore that ‘SAFC’ crest at Wembley…..👀🏆 #safc

Bloody hell 😮‍💨 not sure my heart rate will ever recover after that. ‘Scenes’ is just an understatement. The emotion, the passion, the drama. Going to be dreaming of Dan Ballard for a long time now. HAWAY🔴⚪️ #safc

That goal has been coming since kick off. Concerned that we’ve allowed this pressure to build without changing the shape. Should never be defending a lead at home in the biggest game of the season. Hopefully this wakes us up. #safc

Real character to produce that performance despite the limp end to the season. RLB was brave & bold in his tactics & the players delivered. Job half done but the team will be full of confidence. Especially Wilson & Mayenda. Special shout out to Ballard. Warrior tonight. #safc

I’m usually one to flirt with optimism but today’s result (& those previous) have been utterly diabolical. Yes, the playoffs can be treated with isolation but you want to bring in some form & desire. I know we’ve had injuries but the performances have been woeful. Hoping for a miracle. #safc
May 3, 2025 at 1:31 PM
Need to remember that won’t be the team that spearheads the playoffs. However it’s disappointing to see little desire to play our style or build momentum. Jobe a big miss. Team really need to pull it together soon. #safc

Goodness the reactions from today’s result 😮‍💨 Yes today was poor & disappointing, but that’s football, it happens. We’ve squandered games this season, but take a moment to appreciate what we’ve achieved & challenged for. Leaps & bounds from last year. Stop being so short sighted & petty #safc

Thoroughly over the last minute equaliser/defeat feeling. Footballs gut punch. However I’m buoyant. We’re having a fantastic season, an exciting squad & although the maths is tough, we still have games to ensure there’s plenty of twists & turns in this promotion race. #safc
February 17, 2025 at 10:30 PM
Another opportunity missed 😮‍💨 however we were poor yet still had managed to salvage the point. Could be invaluable, however I think we’re on thin ice if we want automatics. Think Mayenda deserves a start btw. Injected some urgency into our game. #safc

This is becoming very frustrating to watch now. No flow to our game & just seem to run into their players. Fair play to Watford, just haven’t let us play today. #safc

Got to pull those socks up Poveda #safc
February 8, 2025 at 1:55 PM
Just not at the races today. Unable to capitalise on the lead & inevitably invite Watford to play & equalise. Need to get into higher gear & put this to bed as we have the players to do it. #safc
February 8, 2025 at 1:22 PM
It’s these results you look back on & realise how significant that game was. Tremendous performance (minus first 30mins) against our Yorkshire neighbours. Bottle this momentum & we could be witnessing something special. Also Le Feé, Christ son you’re good. #safc
