But also the consequences aren't anything negative to him! It's just people reading it and thinking "Oh yeah I should not be a free rider on this media I enjoy consuming"

Why? I like reading the articles. Every few months I get a free gift to it, but haven't for a while, so £7 in return for reading them again seems fair.

Like I also subscribe to the FT, Private Eye, London Centric and Jonn's newsletter.

Paying to read stuff you want to read isn't weird!

It's the accounting degrees that I find strangest. You skip a few examples for your professional qualification, but those exams you skip are pretty easy so you should be find doing them whilst working.

But a Maths degree opens more doors that accounting.

It's great because "Well 20 year olds don't care about this because they have no money!" Is a pretty weird reaction based on the OP. Obviously some do!

Rebranding a stocks and shares ISA (sounds intimidating and scary), into an Index ISA is going to make a bank significant amount of money

Yeah and you also just buy government bonds. If they're not safe then frankly cash isn't going to be either because we're in deep shit.

Happy to vote for Foot in '83, high top rate, unilateral disarmenent, mass nationalisation.

But no a tiny fraction of her wealth a year to help solve a housing crisis is too much.

Maybe we don't have a housing shortage after all?

They were cutting edge for like 30 seconds before being hopelessly out of date.

They do hire security! And make it out of flame retardant material, but it's like last scene of Batman Begins, it's a problem of escalation...
