Musing on what’s different about digital bookings
First visit in years to the common land where I grew up. Hard to describe quite how much it is a part of me. The colour of the sand, the details of the small handful of types of plants that grow there are beyond familiar. Recognising individual trees from 40 years ago everywhere. Cheesy but true.

Very belatedly passed my driving test 30 years later than I could have. 3 minor faults. Undue interest in the GOV.UK design system based form used by the examiner did not seem to count against me.

Made my local running club some 3D printed Christmas decorations of our regular Strava routes because who doesn't love the whimsical breakdown of the barriers between the physical and digital worlds

I'm not religious, but I can't walk past St Magnus the Martyr without a peak inside. Portal to another time. High church smells, dark and (Wikipedia just told me) has the only cardinal in the CofE. I hope they put the bridge back one day.
