I still kind of hope that Starmer will eventually say, look we've tried everything to make Brexit work, getting trade deals with USA etc but it's just not working we must get closer to Europe again. I think I might be being optimistic though.

Even before these requests to repeal these laws it's absolutely crazy that Britain is trying to get a trade deal with Trump's USA. Trump is so erratic and unstable that he could just cancel any agreement at any moment just as he did with Canada and Mexico.
