I am an atheist and believe strongly in the separation of religion and state, but I do not want to live in a place where people's personal beliefs are policed by the state and where reasonable accommodations for religious beliefs and traditions are prohibited, especially when it's based on bigotry!

And to be sure, this bill is supported by more than just the conservative CAQ. The PQ and other parties are part of this despicable violation of the basic rights of Canadians who live in Quebec,

One of the big issues in the system is a lack of staffing and resources. That isn't solved by giving wealthy people front line access to healthcare.

It actually moves resources to less critical (but more profitable) items and will make everything worse for most people.

Universal Health Care means one system for high-quality everyone, rich or poor. That's a Canadian value. It's not only possible to make it work, it's best the system for Canada.

It's time to recommit to our core Canadian values that have been slowly eroded by Smith and others.

Twitter has hundreds and hundreds (thousands?) of accounts that bear all of the signals that they are bot accounts, all spewing slight variations of the exact same message, perfectly in line with the Smith government. It's been like this for years, but it's completely unchecked now.

It's glaringly obvious that making healthcare better and more accessible for rich folks will never, ever lead to better healthcare for all!

Instead of giving up on our identity as a nation where quality healthcare is a human right, it's time to rebuild the very foundation of universal healthcare.
