I have been preparing for months to face November 2025 and still can not make it any easier. Visa still in limbo 4 days before conference. Manuscript not finished. All samples have not been analysed.
After all, humans can only prepare for the best and worst. God handle the rest.

My research result is uncertain, my visa for conference is in limbo, and they increased my rent by 20%

Failed my experiment after 1 month of planning. Feeling embarassed and devastated.
But tonight I am flying for Hololive concert
Spv wish me to have fun and forget the experiment for the whole weekend 🥰
Gonna have some fun foodies pilgrim in Sydney and pretend my dying plants don't exist.

I think all scientific conferences should consider to move out from US for next few years. No way we can fly there and pass your border.

China occupied 8 of 10 top scientific institutions in the world. US still has Harvard at 2nd place

And Trump decided to cut Harvard funding

I won't be able to understand MAGA logic

If China really can build the equivalent of NIH, they can take over the world.
Nature Index 2025 Research Leaders: Western institutions lose long-held top spots
Major drivers of high-quality science, such as Germany’s Max Planck Society and CNRS in France, drop several places as China’s universities rise.

And also this might change our interpretation toward soil microbial diversity. Once more information are available, our understanding will change.

Sad that this happened when we are at verge of existential challenges involving climate change and the rise of AGI.
Probably it is human nature that when big challenge arise, we created more chaos. Covid pandemic has shown that.

I want to be clear once more that every single vaccine on the childhood vaccine schedule in the United States has already been subjected to a randomized clinical trial. There is no evidence that giving more than one of these vaccines within the time period specified by the schedule poses any risk.

RFK Jr. thinks that a clinical trial should be done for the entire childhood vaccine schedule. Here’s why that will never happen.

1. You can’t do a randomized trial of something that we already know is safe and effective. There would have to be a placebo group that didn’t get vaxxed. Unethical.

Don't mind me.. just lost all my dopamine from great results 2 days ago due to sudden bad result today.
