– Stay informed about your local town or city council in case they consider any surveillance systems.

– Contact your public officials urge them to reject Flock cameras and to create privacy protections.

The ordinance would:
– add a $300 surcharge on landlords for each student tenant renting exclusively with other students

– require colleges to give the city detailed info about students living off-campus

We think it’s clear the Civil Rights Act of 1990 was meant to apply to ALL governmental bodies and that the State should not be free to discriminate under it, and we are hopeful the RI Supreme Court will agree.

The leaked data included Social Security numbers and personal health care information.

The approved agreement means that the people who submitted claim forms will receive free credit monitoring for five years and various levels of compensation.
