also after taking these screenshots and comparing them i've realized that the hd versions fucked up the aspect ratio just slightly, hopefully that's something that can be fixed! maybe if re:fined ever gets updated...

i mean they might but it's because it's disney/marvel and not because of the narrative

there are more main superheroes to keep track of in the mcu than characters of any significant importance in the kh games and when you tell someone to watch through the mcu they don't look at you like this

as with all series with an overarching narrative spanning several entries, to understand what's going on you've gotta experience them in order and sometimes multiple times to catch everything, and to not want to do so is fine but that doesn't make the story convoluted

for people worried about jumping on the frame train considering any growing pains it might have right off the bat, i could see someone instead buying a steam machine and building a little vr backpack to more or less make the index "wireless", would love to see if someone does!

599-699 would make it more competitive with the quest 3 but i also think that's just a lil too cheap for what it is and would devalue the index quite a bit which is still a pretty good option if you don't mind fiddling with the cables and the base stations

they could drop the index kit and continue to just sell the parts piecemeal til stock is gone and then they could really just do whatever with pricing i guess? and with that i could see the frame kit being 799-899, unless they've done some black magic and can price it cheaper
