I’m sorry to hear that. That must be disappointing. Times like these, you see people’s real colors. I’ve been very happy with Tammy Duckworth; she pulls no punches when grilling 47’s unqualified nominees. But Durbin, whom I liked till now, seems too tired and old to fight as much as we need.

My governor, JB Pritzker, has fought for our safety since COVID. He’s not perfect, but he’s trying hard. Example: he’s intent on keeping this an island of reproductive choice in the midst of restrictive states. I believe him when he says, “If you come for my people, you have to come through me.”
